Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Continue the Autobot Struggle on the DS

Friday, May 22nd, 2009

When the epic blitzkrieg of a battle for supremacy between the shape-shifting mechanical aliens hit the silver screen it grossed over 320 million dollars and another 75 million dollars from the game based on the same theme. As the sequel of this movie gets set to release in June it is no surprise that Paramount Studios and Activision have got together once again to bring this blockbuster theme to the gaming stations. Titled the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen get set to witness an eponymous battle loaded with fantastic special effects.

This new version lets you play as both Autobots and Decepticons. Combat your rivals in a lethal struggle to gain dominance as you get to battle it out in detailed environments like Cairo and Shanghai that form the backdrop for this epic combat. The upgraded controls give you more precise command over the characters and enable you to switch instantaneously between the vehicle, robot and weapon modes as you hurtle across the screen. The intense and unique story of the various characters in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen DS lets you experience the game in a whole new way each time. All the levels are pressure packed and a split second difference is all the time it takes to either destroy and survive or be annihilated by the enemy. The online co-op feature allows you to go on a fierce head to head combat with your friends. The Wi-Fi feature allows you to compete with four players at once.

For all those gamers that are into larger than life gaming that involves brutal and intense action Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is a must have Nintendo DS game.

Transformers DS Review

Friday, July 27th, 2007

JoshuaZimmerman reviews Transformers DS for the Nintendo DS Lite. In this video review, Joshua provides an in depth overview of Transformers DS giving you plenty of footage and opinions to help you decide if you should buy the game or not.

I fast forwarded to the end of the review and he says “So what it comes down to is - don’t buy this game. The missions are all the same, there’s nothing really new, there are limitations on what you can destroy and combat is not that difficult.”.
