The Sims 2 - Cast Away (DS) is Another Fun Sims Expansion

Thursday, August 27th, 2009

The Sims 2 - Cast Away from Electronic Arts is perfectly designed for Nintendo DS. The game is an adventure title with many latest features. The game is all about being trapped on an isolated island. The game starts as the character falls of a boat and get trapped on this isolated island. You have options of choosing the male or a female player as per the preference. The players SIM must learn how to survive on a deserted island. The game somewhat resembles Lost In The Blue but still is different in various aspects.

The SIM that is trapped on the island has to find a way to fulfil his or her food, water shelter and other needs. Finding food will not be as difficult as it was in Lost In The Blue. The main stress of the game is actually exploring the island you are stuck on. There are loads to explore in The Sims 2 - Cast Away (DS), as there are a set of three islands. There has a map for each section that contains different things to do and collect. By exploring you find new items to eat and various other objects that acts as tools. These tools help you fill up the meters really quickly. The player has to get out of the island by searching other inhabitants and helping them out.

The gameplay of the game is amazing and the graphics are terrific as well. The island shown in the game is specifically designed and looks really nice. All in all it is a breathtaking game for Nintendo DS.

The Sims 2 - Pets (DS): Now your Sims have Pets

Friday, August 14th, 2009

For all those of you who have played Nintendogs on your Nintendo DS, playing The Sims 2 - Pets (DS) will certainly not be a gaming exercise. By now, many of you must have accustomed to grooming a pet, teaching him things and etiquettes and worse, cleaning up all the excretion scattered around. There is an array of directions that have to be delegated to the pet to make him/her understand that obeying all commands is a big requisite to smooth gaming. The gamer becomes a dedicated veterinary expert and also vaccinates the pet at times when he/she shows signs of sickness. The controls are very easy to operate and an object which you want your ‘Sim’ to go and fetch can be spotted at once. The pet also needs to be diagnosed at times when it shows signs of fatigue. Keeping your pet healthy is imperative and that is a task that the gamer has to religiously follow.

The Sims game is as good as the first edition and includes some variations to induce that excitement factor. The pets are their charming self and will really test your patience when they make you run around. All the gamer needs to show is some compassion towards the pets which will make them permanent loyalists. The sound in the Sims 2 - Pets (DS) is quite good and so are the graphics. Do not expect any slash action but only a subtle flow of emotions. The pricing of the game has been done very affordably which makes it one of the most buyable games in the market.
