Luminous Arc 2 is the follow up to the not so successful Luminous Arc that was released in 2007. It is therefore slightly surprising that the producers, namely Atlus, have decided to take a gamble with a sequel to the game. The original version enjoyed mixed responses and was blatantly derided by the critics, as the game was plagued multiple flaws that deprived gamers from enjoying the overall gaming experience. The producers have claimed that they have made many vital improvements that should put things into perspective and take the gaming experience to the next level. (more…)

Get Lost in the Mazes of Fate on the DS Lite

Mazes of Fate DS can, with all due respect, be described as a somewhat mediocre 3D version of the more popular and well animated Game Boy Advance game of the same name. The story is also more or less the same. It is just that now there are four more additional characters to choose from instead of the original three. The game, which is basically a dungeon crawler, starts with the story of gods and humans. The gods are unhappy that the humans have started neglecting them and plan on replacing them with a more submissive species. (more…)

Dragon Quest IV on the DS

Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen, is a terrific role-playing game that would make an excellent addition to your Nintendo DS games library. It is one of the most popular Square Enix’s franchise all set to be released for the DS screens. This RPG is split into five chapters of short stories which introduce new heroes and heroines as the story unfolds. Kingdom Hearts Returns

Come winter and you will witness the next addition to the Kingdom Hearts series, Kingdom Hearts 358/2 days. It is an action role playing game developed and published by Square Enix exclusively for the Nintendo DS, with assistance from h.a.n.d., a Japanese video game developer. It will feature both single and multiplayer gameplay modes. The single player mode will be story based, and progress over days, where the player controls the protagonist of the game, Roxas. Spectrobes II: What’s beyond the Portals?

After the huge success of Spectrobes in 2007, Disney Interactive Studios is all set to release its sequel Spectrobes II: Beyond the Portals for the Nintendo DS. This sequel has a wealth of new features, including an entirely new story. The story has a three-dimensional perspective, complete with a map to assist with exploration and new excavation.
