This collection is sure to wreck your brain as you try to solve them all. It has some unique game modes such as ‘Quick Blast’ and ‘Fast and Fun’. In the former, the player sets a specific amount of time and plays the games to beat the clock, while the latter allows the player to complete maximum number of puzzles without running out of time or making an error. The three difficulty levels create fun for players irrespective of the skill level.

The player provides the input of letters and numbers by tapping an onscreen keyboard or calculator. The tapping method is slightly slower than stylus which is used by other games such as Brain Age and Crossword DS.

In this gameplay, a single player can create up to four profiles thus giving the player more chances of tracking his/her performance and best times. It has a unique ‘Try the Tournament’ game mode that provides the player with a series of randomly-selected puzzles of each game type. GameTrailers reviews Puzzle Quest: Challenge of the Warlords for the Nintendo DS Lite.  Puzzle games don’t get much better than this and Puzzle Quest is a solid, original concept and nearly perfect.  They give it a 7.5 for Story, 8.5 for gameplay, 9.0 for design and an overall score of 8.4.
