Cradle of Rome: Build Your Roman Empire
Thursday, November 6th, 2008You must already be familiar with the PC version of the Cradle of Rome, which was released last year. The three-style game has now made its way to your favourite handheld. So get ready to construct your Roman Empire in your own way.
The puzzle game developed by Cerasus Media allows the players to construct over 20 historical sites based on the five areas in the Ancient Rome. It is quite engrossing to collect all the material required for building castles: tools, wood, gold and a lot of creative thought. Choose from the five different eras and match the rows on the puzzle board. Your ability depends highly on the resources you gather. The more you collect; the better the output.
You can knock away one square at a time with the hammer, but to use the tool again you have to rebuilt it. You will get a new tool in every level, but you can carry the hammer to all the levels by saving it. Use a shield to clear the row and a star to clear the entire onscreen resource. If you are able to collect sufficient resources, you can convert the lonely land into a famous historical monument like the Temple of Venus.
No puzzle game is fun to play unless it involves a certain amount of difficulty. Hence, the multiple gameplay modes of Cradle of Rome Nintendo DS are made to test your talent in solving some interesting but tough puzzles. Load the game on your DS and fabricate a whole new empire with a new emperor, which is you!
