This puzzle thriller comes from a leader in casual games PopCap. Peggle is a puzzle game that is both pinball and pachinko. Field is full of orange and blue pegs and players can pass a level by clearing the oranges. Fire the small balls from the screen top in the puzzle game. As the balls reach the bottom, they come into contact with the pegs and clear them. Players are provided with a certain amount of shots with which they have to try and clear all the pegs.

While the whole process sounds simple, it is not. This game is absolutely addictive and hypnotizes the player in a way reminiscent of Tetris DS. It is very difficult to get away from Peggle: Dual Shot once you start playing. The plunky noise as the ball makes its way through the maze of pegs with the probability of it landing in the free ball bucket is absolutely thrilling. It is possible to make skilled shots with practice.

As you continue playing and hitting the green pegs, you get the chance to unlock the Peggle Masters, a group of animals. Peggle Masters come with different ability to power up. For example, the ability to see where your ball is going to bounce after launch is provided by Bjorn Unicorn’s “guide” display.

Purple pegs add to your points. For instance, if you hit five purple pegs, you are given a chance to bounce and collect gems in a room featured in the bonus zone. D-pad and stylus can be used for moving around and launching the ball. Interesting levels offered include the Q Entertainment level and the Night Expansion level. Duel mode allows you to challenge a friend.

You can enjoy hours of fun with the addictive game of Peggle: Dual Shot.
