Mister Slime or Slimy

A green-headed giant with four arms, who is stuck doing odd jobs for the local tribal leader is a good way to describe this new game for the Nintendo DS called Mister Slime. Featuring a mucous- filled little hero called Slimy, it is sure to please action lovers. As a gamer of this 2D platform game, you will land as Slimy and navigate through all the levels drumming anchor points. The animals, ringmasters, stalls, mini games and the goodies are here to give you an unrivalled carnival experience. The Carnival Games for Nintendo DS lite is an amusing game which can be enjoyed by all age groups. You can play this entertaining game by your self as well as with a friend over the wireless. The Carnival Games are designed to give you an uninterrupted 3D experience.
A cute-looking ringmaster welcomes you when you start the game. You can choose the character you want and the kind of attire you wish to wear. There is a wide variety of clothing, hair and accessories. You can buy all thee things and new accessories to customize your character using tickets that you win during the game. The graphics in the game are vibrant, cartoon-like and amusing. The 3D effect feels comical as you move around the stalls, behind the trees and play the games. After you have taken a small trip across the carnival, you will have to play the mini games in the stalls to win the tickets. There are 20 mini games in the carnival, which range from leapfrog to duck shooting. The tickets won during the game can be exchanged for goodies for your character.
In a nutshell, Carnival Games is a funny and hilarious game that will appeal to you if you like light-hearted games. The mini games can be little frustrating but some of them like RC Race and Clown Hammer can be lots of fun.

SouthPeak games is ready to launch Ninjatown for the Nintendo DS in fall 2008. On one side of Ninjatown there is a towering active volcano, Mount Feroshi, and on the other side there is a dark mysterious forest, which houses several evils. This town will give you a feeling of any small town with small parks, houses and stores. Ninjas live peacefully and go about their daily activities such as napping and constant training to sharpen their martial art moves. (more…)

Dragon Quest IV on the DS

Dragon Quest IV: Chapters of the Chosen, is a terrific role-playing game that would make an excellent addition to your Nintendo DS games library. It is one of the most popular Square Enix’s franchise all set to be released for the DS screens. This RPG is split into five chapters of short stories which introduce new heroes and heroines as the story unfolds. Unlike other role playing games, this game will need a little bit of level grinding before you move between different locations. (more…)

Star Wars Will Rock in September

LucasArts plans to release the DS version of their new exciting videogame Star Wars: The Force Unleashed in September, 2008. LucasArts had earlier announced the launch for November, 2007, but then delayed it. We can expect this delay to be an indication of the effort LucasArts is putting into making this new Star Wars game a total success. If you assume it to be another 3D action game, believe me you will find it much more than just another addition to the Star Wars library in a 3D format. (more…)

Revisiting the introduction of the DS Lite

The Nintendo DS Lite has been on the market since 2006 and recently surpassed the 51 million units sold worldwide benchmark. These sales statistics do not even include sales of the standard Nintendo DS. In commemoration of the DS Lite’s impressive sales feat, and its two year anniversary, we are revisiting some of the improvements the DS Lite made over its predecessor. Hopefully a retrospective look at these improvements will help us to predict what Nintendo might have in store for the next generation. (more…)
