AMF Bowling Pinbusters: DS Game for Bowling Fans
Monday, May 4th, 2009
If you love bowling then you should try out AMF Bowling’s Pin busters, the portable bowling game for the Nintendo DS.
This interesting game can be played with various starting options like Single Player, Multiplayer and Quick Play. If you opt for Quick Play, then you are ushered into the game almost instantaneously where you can pick a character and lane of your choice from over 12 options. Pin busters is very similar to regular bowling games based on ten frames, splits and strikes which provide you with bonus points.
This game requires you to use the d-pad and buttons for control unlike using the stylus in 42 All-Time Classics. Direction, power and spin are the three stages that you can control using buttons and d-pad. The game in AMF Bowling: Pinbusters begins as you set the ball in motion by moving your character to any side of your choice. You can control the spin of the ball once the ball is set in motion and it moves towards the pins. Pin busters’ control system requires players to get a hang of its operation. Once that is done then the game is truly rewarding as players get perfect control over each shot.
The Pin busters game is action packed with final scores shown on the touch screen after the conclusion of ten pins. Those who want lots of excitement should try out the single player option or menu where you can play the AMF World Cup which presents great challenges. A variety of themes have been included in the lanes like football stadium and disco. The multiplayer option allows lay online via Nintendo Wi-Fi, no downloads are necessary. Pin busters allow you to compete with friends or total strangers online that makes the game all the more interesting. The game has great graphics. It is an inexpensive bowling game that is bound to leave you glued to the PC for long.
