Insecticide: Should it be Squashed?
Tuesday, April 1st, 2008Insecticide for the DS Lite might have had the potential to be a fun game, with its wacky character models and amusing setting, but unfortunately it falls way short. Rather than being a game with a few glitches or annoyances that need to be ironed out, the game itself is poorly designed, with monotonous gameplay. The levels are more or less all the same, and the controls are incredibly slow. Aside from the promising idea of playing as a bug detective with a roach partner in an insect world, the game has little staying power. Scott does a good job articulating the game’s flaws in his video and proves that bugs are meant to be squashed.
