Wednesday, July 22nd, 2009

Developed by EA Sports, the FIFA 09 (DS) is the next level football game. The first thing that can be noticed in the FIFA 09 is the presence of Brazilian super star Ronaldinho on the cover of the game. FIFA 09 (DS) by Electronic Arts offers runs at 60 fps for starters, which makes the game lot more enjoyable than previous DS editions.

The FIFA 09 (DS) has an expanded career mode called Be A Pro: Seasons, where the gamer can choose or create a player and then master an outfield position with the vital aim of becoming a legend in soccer.

FIFA 09 (DS) features the all new Custom Team Tactics that provides the gamer all the tools to become a first-team coach. The gamer can customize the positioning of the players and support the play of the team and also decide exactly how the team will play in any situation. Being the team coach a player has the power to balance and tune 11 tactical sliders for 140 attacking and 40 defending options. The FIFA 09 DS game has been polished and refined with 250 additions for core game-play. More focus has been applied on the game which has led to improvement in time shooting and passing, trapping, tackling variation and faster and controlled dribbling.

Another feature of the FIFA 09 (DS) is the improved goalkeeper intelligence. The goalkeepers can position themselves more intelligently during the game, react to goal shots more practically and also recover from saves quicker. The FIFA 09 (DS) also includes unique Be A Pro camera which re-creates the excitement of racing in on a goal.

Pro Evolution Soccer 6 offers highly realistic Gameplay

Sunday, May 17th, 2009

This game series from Konami is known the world over for its highly realistic gameplay and incorporation of rational elements. The Pro Evolution Soccer 6 is the latest addition to this PES series. Infused with dramatic changes, upgraded graphics and a completely overhauled system this game is bound to impress you.

The most significant change is the massively upgraded and a smarter artificial intelligence system (AI). Players in the game move to open spaces rather cleverly when they do not have possession of the ball and even indicate where they would like the pass. The actual physical play in the Pro Evolution Soccer 6 DS game has been improved and players have to work to move the defender. The developmental team has refined the shooting system that allows the players more attempts at a snap shot. Many new moves have been incorporated like the capacity to maintain control of the ball even when going into a slide tackle. Due to refined and upgraded dribbling controls players will now be able to dribble backwards. The headers have been changed to allow more movement. Apart from the massive overhaul it features more balanced referees and includes a number of new national teams like Spain, Argentina, Sweden, Netherlands and Italy. The game features an International Challenge, the already popular Master League and random play. The dribbling is easier but shooting and passing depends on the player’s position i.e. don’t expect to score a goal if shot right after a sharp turn.

The inclusion of realistic elements combined with the smarter AI makes Pro Evolution Soccer 6 an extraordinary game that guarantees to enthral you completely.
