The Chase: Felix Meets Felicity takes Dating to the DS Lite

Friday, December 26th, 2008

Dating is real fun, isn’t it? Here is a new way to fix a date and look into a budding love story. Yes, I’m talking about this new game on the DS that centres on a cute theme. The Chase: Felix Meets Felicity offers a wonderful platform for controlling two young lovebirds.

The nonviolent storyline, based on a fresh style, is quite attractive and unique. Felix, a delivery boy and Felicity, a delivery girl come across one another while engaged in their job. There is something like love at first sight and they fall for each-other. What next? They both fix a date of course. Interesting but are you not looking for more of a reason to play? Relax, the game is not all about the love story, as you also have a chance to do traditional gaming things like collect coins, fruits, and flowers. You do this to ensure that the couple meets in time.

You have the liberty to propel yourself in order to fulfill the ultimate motive and pick up the speed while tapping towards the right direction. Get back to your stylus and help Felix and Felicity to find a path with the lines. If you draw more in the Chase - Felix meets Felicity, your meter may go down but no worries as there is a great way of recharging it. You simply have to collects fruits or else jump over the hoops to get the energy back into your meter. Sounds easy and simple? It is but make sure you avoid the impending rain wall that can turn into a storm. The storm will not only spoil the fun but actually your play will be over if you hit it.

So chase the time and let Felix and Felicity cross all the hurdles that may delay their date.

Let’s go for a Ball, you Princess!

Wednesday, August 6th, 2008

The creator of the famous Harvest Moon and Reel Fishing series, Natsume has developed ‘Princess Debut’. It is a game about being a princess and finding a date for the big ball. It is primarily a ballroom dancing rhythm game, but it has a cute storyline and a little bit of flirting (ooohh), as well so that you can find your date. The game is full of adorable and cute looking characters that give a fairytale feeling.

You only have 30 days for dance practicing, before the ball, but the most exciting part is you get to do things you love the most, like dressing up in new and mesmerizing apparels, and adorning yourself with beautiful jewelry. Unlike Princess on Ice, here a lot of attention is paid to factors other than dancing. You have 6 princes to choose from for your ultimate date. And believe you me; you will also get a chance to shake a leg with a six foot rabbit! Isn’t that really bizarre? Not only this, but you also spend time socializing to woo your favorite prince.

The gameplay lasts for 25 hours depending on the time you take to explore and socialize. So if music, dance, love, dating and, not to forget, having a perfect date with your prince is what excites you, then Princess Debut is truly for you.
