Wall-E is waiting for you on the DS Lite

Pixar is a genius when it comes to animation, and the company has teamed up with Disney to create both Wall-E the movie and video game. While many movies turned video games are somewhat lacking, and released simply as means of merchandising, Disney has spent a great amount of effort in making Wall-E a quality video game title.

The game is foremost based on puzzles and ends up engaging you in very exciting and interesting gameplay. The title’s story has you trying to save humans from their own greed and lazinees as a lonely robot. The levels in Wall-E include a conveyor belt, doors guarded by lasers and wall mounted switches. A user can also deliberately throw cubes on the switches, and this is actually necessary in order to complete the level. In earth stations you’ll get garbage stations where trash cubes are easily available. You can then use those trash cubes to toss at enemies or switches.

Some of the puzzles are quite difficult and hard to figure out, adding to the game’s level of excitement. The title’s main drawback is its camera, which is awful as, you’ll only get the view from limited angles. Apart from the bad camera movements, the graphics are also not very impressive, as some portion come out blurred. However, overall the game is fun, and if you like puzzles, or liked the movie, then you will likely enjoy the game as well.
