If you thought that the Nintendo DS is only for those mini-games and kids alone, you are going to bit the edges of your seats with Dementium: The ward. For all those people who can’t do without the thrill and nail-biting excitement that comes from those creaking sounds and the terrifying on the face thrusts of some real ugly zombie characters – This is the game that can push into the dark corners of the gaming fantasy world.
The game is a first-shooter, action thriller come adventure fantasy with loads of special effects and incredible graphics, aimed at the rebels; the renegades and the off-minded adventure seeking adrenaline enthusiasts. Combined with the possibility of the touch-screen properties of the Nintendo DS lite, it gives the player a feeling of being “in possession” of the fantasy – an experience that can come as close to “real time” as possible what with real time flash light which makes it all feel real for the players – musty walls, eerie surroundings and a hair-raising plot.
Talking about the plot briefly, it is basically about a man who wakes up in the throes of a deserted hospital, haunted by some mysterious ‘surgical mistakes’ and to his horror he realizes that he needs to play against the odds to get out of the hospital safe – a dear run for his life.
