Guitar Hero: On Tour Preview – The Game Goes DS
Guitar Hero: On tour is one of those games that is on the “Top Expectations” list and has taken a painstaking 20 prototypes to get right. The hugely popular game is now being made to be played on Nintendo Ds lite with an all new Guitar-rip attachment that is going to be shipped along with the package. This is to give you an ergonomic and comfortable gaming experience since the attachment fits into the advance slot and is curved so as to make your fingers reach out for the buttons easily.
Although the game is a good few months away from its scheduled release on June 22nd, 2008, the talk is already on.
According to gamespot.com which seems to have gotten its hands onto a prototype, the “On Tour” promises an authentic Guitar Hero experience. It is expected to come loaded with more than twenty-five numbers but only about 5 tunes have been officially announced so far ( courtesy: gamespot.com)
“Do What You Want”–OK Go
“All the Small Things”–blink-182
“Spiderwebs”–No Doubt
“Are You Gonna Be My Girl”–Jet
“We’re Not Gonna Take It”–Twisted Sister
There is a strong possibility that most of the game’s music tracks will be master tracks, however. You could look to play against your friends by competing for scores; grab some power-ups that can be used against your opponent like throwing bombs on your opponents or using the power-up to break the strings of your opponent’s guitar.
