Walk in the path of the Ninja

Thursday, August 21st, 2008

It’s new, it’s fast, it’s fun and it’s Naruto: Path of the Ninja 2. Yes Naruto is back with a sequel but with an entire new storyline that will keep you glued to the DS screens. To give its fans something new and exciting the role-playing game will feature new characters and online multiplayers. The game can also be played with anyone and anywhere if you have a Wi-Fi connection. Not only do you get additional bonuses by playing against the people in different regions but the players can also collect cards from all the states, which would help in unlocking special items in the game.

The players can have a squad of four that he can use to counter your opponents Jutsu to lessen the harm. You assign a squad leader and depending upon the character he or she will have a special buff, which will enhance the entire party. You can choose from 30 characters and empower them with the additional abilities to defeat your antagonist. You earn points by playing online that can be used later to purchase cards. If you win, you get 3 points but if you loose you only get 1 point.

Naruto: The Path of the Ninja 2 sounds really interesting multi player game which you can play coming October.

Red Steel Review by X-Play

Thursday, December 14th, 2006

Adam Sessler and Morgan Webb from X-Play review Red Steel for the Nintendo Wii.  On one hand the unique use of the Wii remote holds your interest for quite awhile, but unfortunately you have to keep the remote up most of the time and this will result in sore arms.  Ultimately the unique interface that saves this game from mediocrity is also what keeps it from greatness.  They give it a 3 out of 5 stars.

Review of Madden 07 For the Nintendo Wii

Thursday, December 7th, 2006

GTTV reviews Madden 07 for the Nintendo Wii.  If you’re looking for a full featured Madden for one of your new consoles, the Wii version is hands down the one that delivers.  The visuals are a bit dissappointing, but otherwise you get a lot of bang for your buck.  It gets an 8.8 for gameplay, 8.7 for design and an overall score of 8.7.

Excite Truck for the Nintendo Wii

Tuesday, December 5th, 2006

GTTV reviews Excite Truck for the Nintendo Wii.  From the beginning, the reviewer wonders if this game should really be called Mildly Entertaining Truck.  It is one of the most bare bones console racing games released in recent memory with just a few options to choose from.  Overall, the best feature of the game seems to be going as fast as you can and jumping really high.  All of this is the reviewers opinion, so he could be wrong… you might play it safe and rent it first before buying it.  They give Excite Truck a 7.2 for gameplay, 5.5 for design and an overall score of 6.5.

Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess Review

Sunday, December 3rd, 2006

GTTV Reviews Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess for the Nintendo Wii.  I’m going to start adding Nintendo Wii game reviews when I can’t seem to find game reviews for the DS Lite.

The newest Zelda game, The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess is a love letter to anyone who has enjoyed a Zelda game.  The story in Twilight Princess is thought provoking and at the same time fairly typical for the series.  If you’ve played a single Zelda game then you know it’s ultimately going to boil down to three characters.  How Twilight Princess gets there is smart and unexpected.  Not only is Twilight Princess is the best Nintendo Wii launch game, it is easily one of the greatest games ever created.  They give it a 9.2 for story, 10 for gameplay, 9.6 for design and an overall score of 9.7.
