Touch the Dead DS Review

Wednesday, August 29th, 2007

JoshuaZimmerman reviews Touch the Dead for the Nintendo DS Lite.  This game is also known as Dead and Furious.  Touch the Dead is a first person shooter with pretty lame graphics that look like they are from the 90’s.  Right off the bat you can tell the reload feature is annoying…you have to constantly drag and drop to reload.  Basically, this game is horrible and you should avoid buying it.

Nintendogs Review for the Nintendo DS

Wednesday, August 22nd, 2007

Nintendogs for the Nintendo DS reviewed by Craig Harris of IGN. Nintendogs isn’t really a game, but more of a virtual pet that uses every aspect of the Nintendo DS. He gives this a score of 8.8.

Lost in Blue 2 DS Review

Monday, August 13th, 2007

GameTrailers reviews Lost in Blue 2 for the Nintendo DS Lite.  Tired of protecting the Earth from invading aliens?  Lost in Blue 2 gives you something new to do by testing your survival skills on a deserted island.  Wait a minute… is this another anime themed game?  Why yes!  Curses!!

Anyway, you will spend a good portion of the game feeding your character, but later not as much and will get to explore more.  Unfortunately, multiplayer mode is lacking but luckily, single player mode is fairly lengthy.  Lost in Blue 2 scores a 7 for story, 7 for design, 6.3 for gameplay and an overall score of 6.8.

Meteos DS Game Review

Saturday, August 11th, 2007

GameSpot reviews the puzzle game Meteos for the Nintendo DS Lite.  Meteos is a fast past game that could also be called frantic and crazy.  Hmm…looks like a spiffed up version of Tetris to me, but at least it is an improved version.  GameSpot gives Meteos a rating of 8.5 out of 10.

SonikDude reviews Picross for the Nintendo DS Lite. This is a very long review, so you may want to skip forward every so often. Or, grab some snacks and watch the full review. One thing for sure, you should have a very good idea of whether you should buy this game or not by the end of the review! :)

Code Lyoko DS Review

Friday, August 3rd, 2007

Morgan Webb of X-Play reviews Code Lyoko for the Nintendo DS Lite.  Is it just me or are there wayyyy too many Anime related games for the DS?  I mean wayyy too many!  In the end, Code Lyoko combines interesting genres but it wouldn’t even challenge a child.  They give it a 2 out of 5 stars.  Seriously… quit making Anime games for the DS!

Brothers in Arms DS Review

Wednesday, August 1st, 2007

Sebastian of Play-Nintendo reviews the game Brothers in Arms for the Nintendo DS lite.  Brothers in Arms is a nice action game with plenty of stuff going on but with the downside of a low frame rate.  It is basically your standard World War II shooting game for the DS.  This review gives you a good idea of the many controls and features of Brothers in Arms DS.  Overall, Brothers in Arms is a good World War II shooter with excellent sound effects.
